Although receiving DP's would allow you to employ a friend, neighbour or personal assistant there are a number of advantages to using an Approved Strategic Provider to provide the care that you require.
- Each Partner has an extensive and reliable workforce, all of which have been carefully selected through rigorous recruiting procedures, including Criminal Records Bureau checks, to enable them to provide quality care and support.

- All staff receive a comprehensive training program at the beginning of their employment and receives regular training updates throughout their care careers.

- At anytime your regular carer is unable to visit, either because they are on holiday or sick for example, a replacement will be provided for you rather than you having to arrange this yourself.

- All Partners are able to organise and monitor the income tax and NI payments on the carers behalf rather than you taking responsibility for this if you were to employ a friend, neighbour or personal assistant

- When using an Approved Partner there will be no need for you to provide statutory employment requirements such as, holiday pay, sick pay and maternity pay

- All Partners can be contacted at all times while care is being provided and in case of an emergency can be reached outside of normal office hours with "on call" services.

- The Approved Partners will also be able to assist you, if required, to keep account of how much of your payments you have spent and other information the local authority will require.

- All Approved Strategic Partners have full professional and employer's liability insurance.
